Funded by Meester Koetsier Foundation and Fonds Voor Cultuurparticipatie Netherlands.&nbsp;Premiered at FashionClash Festival.&nbsp; A determination for purification introduces two figures from parallel universes—one reviving from mud, the other forged in ash and flame. As both urge to cleanse themselves from the polluted environment surrounding them, a broader challenge against their primordial nature and elemental constraints emerges. To achieve their purest form, they must disrupt the balance of nature, leading to confusion and irreversible havoc.A dystopian portrayal of the journey happens simultaneously through a macro-dynamic world where the present and future merge. My role came to build and set dress the ready-made creations by touche-touche, whose work was playfully sculptural such as creating DIY speakers using the scraps of old car parts which where used for the dj booth as well. The craft of crocheting is highlighted through the lookbook of two tops. Each is made out of felt, which was handcut from a rectangular felt panel into strips and attached to one another with heat to create yarn. The shapes were constructed through freeform crocheting. The molten texture gives it an unusual quality that fits to the unconventional quality of editorial styled clothing.
